Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Start by washing and thinly slicing the cabbage, bell pepper, and green onions. For the carrot, julienne it.
  2. In a small mixing bowl, whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, sugar, and black pepper.
  3. In a large skillet or wok, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it shimmers.
  4. Add the minced garlic and ginger to the pan, stir-frying until fragrant.
  5. Toss in the sliced bell pepper and julienned carrot, stir-frying for 2-3 minutes.
  6. Fold in the shredded cabbage and stir-fry for another 5-7 minutes.
  7. Pour the prepared sauce over the vegetables in the skillet and toss to coat.
  8. Let the stir fry cook for an additional 2 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  9. Remove from heat and sprinkle sliced green onions and toasted sesame seeds on top.
