For the Protein
  • 14.75 ounces Canned Salmon Skinless and boneless.
For the Finish
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese Optional, or use nutritional yeast for a dairy-free version.
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Basil Chopped.

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Cook the Pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente, around 8-10 minutes. Reserve ½ cup of pasta water before draining.
  2. Sauté the Garlic: In a skillet, heat half of the olive oil over medium heat, add minced garlic, and sauté for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Cook the Broccoli: Add chopped broccoli to the skillet and cook for 8–10 minutes until tender and vibrant green.
  4. Add Spinach and Salmon: Stir in baby spinach and drained canned salmon, breaking it into chunks. Cook for 2 minutes until spinach wilts.
  5. Combine Pasta and Sauce: Fold drained pasta into the skillet with vegetables and salmon. Add lemon juice, lemon zest, remaining olive oil, and reserved pasta water. Season and cook for 2–3 minutes.
  6. Serve and Garnish: Remove from heat, transfer to bowls, and top with fresh basil. Serve hot.
