- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook rigatoni in salted boiling water for 8–10 minutes until just al dente, then drain.
- In a skillet, sauté diced onion and minced garlic in olive oil for 2–3 minutes until fragrant.
- Add crumbled Italian sausage and ground beef, cooking until browned (5–7 minutes). Drain excess fat.
- Stir in marinara sauce and Italian seasoning; let simmer for about 5 minutes.
- Combine cooked rigatoni and meat sauce in a greased baking dish, folding in half of the mozzarella and parmesan.
- Top with remaining mozzarella and parmesan cheese.
- Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes, then remove foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
- Let cool for 5–10 minutes before serving.
