  • 1 pound Pizza Dough store-bought or homemade
For the Garlic Butter
  • 3 Tbsp Butter or substitute with olive oil
  • 2-3 cloves Garlic, minced or 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt & Black Pepper
For the Topping
  • 1-1.5 cups Shredded Mozzarella
  • 1/4 cup Grated Parmesan optional
  • 1 tsp Dried Oregano or Italian Seasoning
For Garnish
  • Fresh Parsley, chopped optional

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. If using store-bought pizza dough, let it rest at room temperature for about 10 minutes.
  3. On a lightly floured surface, roll or stretch the dough into a rectangular shape, roughly ¼-inch thick.
  4. In a small saucepan over low heat, melt 3 tablespoons of butter. Add 2-3 minced garlic cloves and a pinch of salt and pepper.
  5. Using a pastry brush, evenly coat the stretched dough with the garlic butter mixture.
  6. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the buttered dough, adding grated Parmesan and dried oregano if desired.
  7. Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 10-15 minutes.
  8. Once baked, let the cheesy garlic breadsticks cool for 1-2 minutes before slicing them into 1-inch wide strips.
