Churro Saltine Toffee Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Lay saltine crackers in a single layer on the baking sheet.
- Combine unsalted butter and brown sugar in a saucepan over medium heat, stirring until boiling.
- Pour the boiling toffee mixture over the crackers, spreading it evenly.
- Bake in the oven for 5-7 minutes until the toffee is bubbly and glossy.
- Remove from the oven and sprinkle chocolate chips on top, allowing them to melt.
- Mix granulated sugar and cinnamon, then sprinkle over the melted chocolate.
- Lightly sprinkle sea salt over the top while still warm.
- Allow to cool completely before breaking into pieces.
