Ingredients
  

For the Bread
  • 2 cups All-Purpose Flour You can replace it with a gluten-free flour blend.
  • 1 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon Ground Nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon Ground Cloves
  • 1/2 teaspoon Ground Ginger
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 cup Canned Pumpkin Puree Substitute with freshly cooked and pureed pumpkin if desired.
  • 1/2 cup Vegetable Oil Can be substituted with applesauce or melted coconut oil.
  • 1/4 cup Orange Juice
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
For the Streusel Topping
  • 1/2 cup All-Purpose Flour You can use gluten-free flour if needed.
  • 1/4 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup Melted Butter
For the Maple Glaze
  • 1 cup Powdered Sugar
  • 1/4 cup Maple Syrup
  • 2 tablespoons Milk Adjust for desired consistency.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together all the dry ingredients for the bread.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the wet ingredients until smooth.
  4. Gently fold the wet mixture into the dry ingredients until just combined.
  5. Transfer the batter to the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  6. In a small bowl, mix together the streusel ingredients until crumbly.
  7. Sprinkle the streusel evenly over the top of the batter.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 55-65 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
  10. Whisk together the glaze ingredients and drizzle over the cooled bread.
  11. Slice and serve the pumpkin bread, enjoying its delightful flavors.
