Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions for Autumn Naan Pizzas
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Gather your ingredients and prepare your workspace.
  2. Drizzle olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add sliced shallots and sauté for 4-5 minutes until golden brown.
  3. Push shallots aside in the skillet and add ground sausage. Cook for 6-7 minutes until nicely browned.
  4. Arrange naan on a baking sheet. Spread pumpkin puree over each piece, leaving a border. Sprinkle dried oregano.
  5. Layer sautéed sausage and caramelized shallots over the toppings. Sprinkle Fontina cheese on top, then add dollops of ricotta.
  6. Garnish with fresh sage leaves and drizzle with olive oil before baking.
  7. Bake for about 15 minutes until cheese is bubbling and naan edges are golden.
  8. Remove from oven and drizzle with hot honey before serving.
