Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add 1 chopped onion and sauté for 3-4 minutes until translucent. Stir in 2 minced garlic cloves, cooking for an additional 1-2 minutes.
  2. Add 1 pound of ground chicken, breaking it apart as it cooks for 5-7 minutes until no longer pink and slightly browned.
  3. Reduce heat to low, pour in 1 cup of heavy cream, and stir to combine. Gradually add 1 cup of grated Parmesan cheese, stirring until melted. Season with 1 teaspoon of Italian seasoning, and salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Preheat another skillet over medium heat. Toast hamburger buns cut side down for 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
  5. Spoon the creamy Chicken Alfredo mixture onto the bottom half of each toasted bun. Place the top half on each sandwich.
  6. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve immediately with sweet potato fries or a garden salad.
