Step-by-Step Instructions
- Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add 1 chopped onion and sauté for 3-4 minutes until translucent. Stir in 2 minced garlic cloves, cooking for an additional 1-2 minutes.
- Add 1 pound of ground chicken, breaking it apart as it cooks for 5-7 minutes until no longer pink and slightly browned.
- Reduce heat to low, pour in 1 cup of heavy cream, and stir to combine. Gradually add 1 cup of grated Parmesan cheese, stirring until melted. Season with 1 teaspoon of Italian seasoning, and salt and pepper to taste.
- Preheat another skillet over medium heat. Toast hamburger buns cut side down for 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
- Spoon the creamy Chicken Alfredo mixture onto the bottom half of each toasted bun. Place the top half on each sandwich.
- Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve immediately with sweet potato fries or a garden salad.

Notes
Store any leftover chicken mixture separately from the buns to avoid sogginess when reheating.
