Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add cheese tortellini and cook for 3-5 minutes until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season the steak with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika. Sear for 3-5 minutes on each side until browned. Remove and let rest.
  3. In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and melt butter. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Pour in heavy cream and whole milk, stirring well. Simmer for 3-4 minutes until sauce thickens slightly.
  5. Whisk in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper.
  6. Slice the steak and return it to the skillet along with the drained tortellini. Toss to combine and heat through.
  7. Remove from heat and garnish with parsley, red pepper flakes, and cracked black pepper. Serve immediately.
