Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a large plastic storage bag, combine all-purpose flour, cornstarch, salt, and your chosen seasonings. Seal the bag tightly and shake vigorously for about 30 seconds until thoroughly mixed.
  2. Add the peeled and deveined jumbo shrimp into the bag. Seal and gently toss until each piece is well-coated. Refrigerate for about 30 minutes, shaking every 15 minutes.
  3. Pour vegetable or peanut oil into a deep frying pan until about 2 inches deep and preheat over medium heat until it reaches between 350°F and 360°F.
  4. Carefully place small batches of shrimp into the hot oil, frying for 2-3 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  5. In a medium saucepan over low heat, combine hot sauce, butter, cayenne pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Stir until the butter is melted and ingredients are well blended.
  6. Place the crispy fried shrimp in a large bowl and pour the prepared hot buffalo sauce over them. Toss gently to coat and serve immediately.
