For the Taquitos
  • 10 Flour or Corn Tortillas Use corn tortillas for a gluten-free option.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper or cooking spray.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, softened cream cheese, shredded cheese blend, salsa, garlic powder, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Stir until creamy.
  3. Warm the tortillas in the microwave for about 20 seconds to make them pliable.
  4. Spoon 2-3 tablespoons of the chicken filling onto one side of each warmed tortilla and roll tightly.
  5. Place each taquito seam-side down on the baking sheet, spaced apart.
  6. Lightly brush the tops of your taquitos with cooking spray or oil.
  7. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes until golden brown, optionally broiling for an extra 1-2 minutes.
  8. Let cool slightly and serve warm with your favorite toppings.
