Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper or cooking spray.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, softened cream cheese, shredded cheese blend, salsa, garlic powder, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Stir until creamy.
- Warm the tortillas in the microwave for about 20 seconds to make them pliable.
- Spoon 2-3 tablespoons of the chicken filling onto one side of each warmed tortilla and roll tightly.
- Place each taquito seam-side down on the baking sheet, spaced apart.
- Lightly brush the tops of your taquitos with cooking spray or oil.
- Bake for 15 to 20 minutes until golden brown, optionally broiling for an extra 1-2 minutes.
- Let cool slightly and serve warm with your favorite toppings.

Taquitos can be assembled in advance and refrigerated for up to 24 hours or frozen for up to 3 months. Reheat frozen taquitos directly from the freezer, adding extra bake time.
