Step-by-Step Instructions for Fried Olives
  1. Start by draining your olives and patting them dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
  2. In a shallow dish, place some all-purpose flour. In another bowl, beat one egg until combined. Pour panko breadcrumbs into a separate plate.
  3. Take each olive, dust it lightly with flour, dip it into the egg, and roll it in the panko breadcrumbs until fully coated.
  4. Set your air fryer to a temperature of 375°F (190°C) and let it preheat for about 5 minutes.
  5. Place the coated olives in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Mist them lightly with cooking oil and cook for 12-15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
  6. Remove the olives from the air fryer and allow them to cool slightly before serving.
