  • 1.5 cups Leftover Beef Birria
  • 0.5 medium Red or White Onion thinly sliced
  • to taste Fresh Cilantro for garnish
  • 1 Lime Wedges for serving

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions for Crispy Oven-Baked Birria Pizza
  1. Preheat the oven to 500°F (260°C) for at least 45 minutes, placing a pizza stone or baking sheet inside.
  2. Roll out the fresh pizza dough to about ¼-½ inch thick on a floured surface.
  3. Spread ⅓ cup of the birria consommé evenly across the rolled-out dough, leaving the outer edges bare.
  4. Sprinkle 1½ cups of shredded cheese over the consommé.
  5. Distribute the leftover beef birria evenly on top of the cheese.
  6. Sprinkle the remaining cheese over the top of the beef birria.
  7. Transfer the assembled pizza onto the preheated stone or baking sheet and bake for 10-15 minutes.
  8. Warm the reserved birria consommé for dipping.
  9. Once baked, top the pizza with sliced onions and fresh cilantro, and serve hot with lime wedges.
