Preparation Steps
  1. Begin by gathering all your ingredients. Rinse 1 cup of mixed berries under cold water. If using frozen berries, measure them out and set aside. Grab a ripe banana, peel it, and break it into chunks.
  2. In your blender, combine the prepared berries, banana chunks, and 1 cup of Greek yogurt. Add 1 tablespoon of ground flaxseed and pour in 1 cup of almond milk.
  3. Blend the mixture on high for about 30 to 60 seconds until creamy and thick with no lumps.
  4. Taste and add honey or maple syrup if you prefer it sweeter. Blend again for 10 seconds to mix thoroughly.
  5. Pour the smoothie into a glass and garnish with extra berries or chia seeds if desired. Enjoy immediately.
