Step-by-Step Instructions for Chicken Koftas with Creamy Garlic
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine your ground chicken, finely chopped onion, minced garlic, and chopped parsley. Sprinkle in the ground cumin, ground coriander, salt, and black pepper. Mix thoroughly for about 2 minutes.
  2. With the seasoned mixture, take small portions and form them into oval-shaped koftas, about 2-3 inches long. Ensure they are tightly packed.
  3. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (around 375°F). Lightly brush the grill grates with olive oil.
  4. Place the koftas on the preheated grill, grill for about 10-12 minutes, turning every 3-4 minutes until golden brown and internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  5. In a separate bowl, combine plain yogurt, freshly squeezed lemon juice, and a pinch of salt. Stir until smooth and creamy.
  6. Transfer cooked koftas to a serving platter and serve with garlic yogurt sauce on the side.
