Method
 

Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the granulated sugar and ground cinnamon for the swirl.
  3. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, beat the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  5. Add the egg, milk, vanilla extract, and vegetable oil to the mixture and blend.
  6. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet mixture until just combined.
  7. Pour half of the batter into the loaf pan and sprinkle half of the cinnamon sugar mixture.
  8. Add the remaining batter on top and finish with the rest of the cinnamon sugar.
  9. Use a toothpick to swirl the cinnamon sugar into the batter.
  10. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  11. Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
