- Begin by greasing your slow cooker with a light coat of non-stick spray or butter. Place the frozen meatballs at the bottom, followed by the baby carrots and chopped celery.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the brown gravy mix with 2 cups of water until smooth and pour it over the meatballs and vegetables.
- Sprinkle the Lipton onion soup mix evenly over the contents and dot with small pieces of butter.
- Cover the slow cooker with its lid and set it to LOW. Cook for 3 to 4 hours, stirring gently halfway through.
- About 10 minutes before serving, prepare the refrigerated mashed potatoes according to package instructions.
