Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. On a floured surface, roll out your pizza dough into a rectangle about ¼ inch thick.
  3. Sauté diced onions and any additional vegetables until softened, about 5 minutes. Then add ground beef and bacon, cooking until browned, about 8-10 minutes. Stir in marinara sauce to simmer.
  4. Spoon the meat and vegetable mixture onto the rolled-out dough, leaving about an inch border. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese and any additional fillings. Roll the dough to create a log shape and seal the ends.
  5. Transfer the assembled Garbage Bread onto a greased baking sheet and bake for 25 minutes, until golden brown.
  6. Allow the bread to cool for about 10 minutes before slicing.
