Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and instant yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes until foamy.
  2. Gradually add flour and salt. Mix until a sticky dough forms, then knead for 8-10 minutes until smooth.
  3. Lightly coat a bowl with olive oil, place dough inside, and let it rise for 1 to 1.5 hours until doubled.
  4. Heat olive oil in a saucepan, add minced garlic, and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant. Allow to cool.
  5. Grease a baking pan, punch down the dough, stretch it into the pan, and let it rise for another 30-45 minutes.
  6. Preheat oven to 425°F. Dimple the dough, brush with garlic oil, and sprinkle with cheese, herbs, and salt. Bake for 20-25 minutes.
  7. Let it cool for 5-10 minutes, slice into squares, and serve warm.
