Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a rolling boil. Add cheese tortellini and cook according to package instructions, about 3-4 minutes. In the last 2 minutes, add broccoli florets. Drain both, reserving about ½ cup of pasta water.
  2. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant and golden.
  3. Pour in heavy cream and stir. Bring to a gentle simmer to thicken for about 2-3 minutes.
  4. Add grated Parmesan and Italian seasoning to the sauce. Stir until cheese melts, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Fold the cooked tortellini and broccoli into the sauce. Add reserved pasta water gradually if the sauce is too thick.
  6. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, then serve immediately, garnished with extra Parmesan and black pepper.
