- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out one sheet of thawed puff pastry, layer with cheese followed by deli ham, then place another sheet on top.
- Cut the layered pastry into 1-inch wide strips, fold each strip like an accordion, then thread onto wooden skewers to form tree shapes.
- In a small bowl, combine melted butter with minced garlic and parsley to prepare the garlic butter glaze.
- Brush the assembled tree shapes with the garlic butter glaze and sprinkle sesame or poppy seeds on top.
- Bake the trees for 20-25 minutes until they puff up and turn golden brown.
