Cooking Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Prepare a baking dish by greasing it with olive oil.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, grated Parmesan, parsley, basil, minced garlic, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Mix thoroughly until creamy.
  3. Pound each chicken breast to an even thickness of about half an inch using plastic wrap or parchment paper.
  4. Spread the ricotta mixture evenly across each chicken breast, roll tightly, and secure with toothpicks or kitchen twine.
  5. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Sear the stuffed chicken rolls for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  6. Transfer the seared chicken rolls to the prepared baking dish and pour marinara sauce over them. Bake for 25-30 minutes until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  7. Let the rolls rest for a few minutes, remove toothpicks, slice, and serve with garnishes if desired.
