  • 2 tablespoons Butter melted, for brushing
For the Filling
  • 8 ounces Premium Ham thin-sliced
  • 1 cup Sharp Cheddar Cheese freshly grated
  • 1 cup Swiss Cheese can substitute with provolone
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon Mustard for tangy depth
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Chives plus more for garnish
For Seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder use sparingly
  • 1 teaspoon Italian Seasoning
For Egg Wash
  • 1 large Egg mixed with water and salt

Method
 

Basic Instructions
  1. Thaw puff pastry at room temperature for 30–40 minutes until pliable.
  2. Lightly flour your work surface and roll out the pastry to about 10x12 inches.
  3. Brush rolled pastry with melted butter, then spread Dijon mustard.
  4. Layer with premium ham, sharp cheddar, Swiss cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and fresh chives.
  5. Roll the pastry tightly away from you, wetting the edge to seal.
  6. Wrap in plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator for at least 20 minutes.
  7. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  8. Slice the roll into ½-inch thick rounds using a serrated knife.
  9. Arrange on the baking sheet, brush with egg wash, and optionally add toppings.
  10. Bake in the oven for 15–18 minutes until golden brown.
  11. Let cool for 3–5 minutes before garnishing and serving warm.
