  • 1 lb Boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/4 cup Maple syrup Honey can be used as a substitute.
  • 2 tbsp Dijon mustard Adjust quantity for desired zest.
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil Can substitute with butter or vegetable oil.
For the Bacon
  • 8 slices Beef bacon Turkey bacon or plant-based bacon can be used.
For the Assembly
  • 8 sliders Slider buns Choose soft buns for the best texture.
  • 2 cups Arugula Spinach can be substituted.
  • 1 tsp Salt Adjust to taste.
  • 1 tsp Pepper Adjust to taste.

Method
 

Marinate the Chicken
  1. Combine maple syrup, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, and a pinch of pepper in a bowl. Add chicken breasts, coating fully and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
Cook the Bacon
  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat, add beef bacon, and cook until crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate, leaving drippings in the skillet.
Cook the Chicken
  1. Using the same skillet, cook marinated chicken breasts for approximately 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and internal temperature reaches 165°F.
Assemble the Sliders
  1. Toast slider buns, layer with arugula, sliced chicken, and bacon.
Serve
  1. Place bun tops on sliders, drizzle with extra maple syrup, and arrange on a serving platter.
