  • ½ cup unsalted butter softened, at room temperature
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs room temperature
  • 1 cup sour cream or plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup milk
For the Cinnamon Swirl
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon preferably freshly ground
For the Glaze
  • 1 cup powdered sugar

Equipment

  • 10-cup Bundt pan
  • Mixing Bowls
  • Electric mixer
  • Whisk
  • Spoon
  • butter knife

Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare the Bundt pan by greasing it with butter or non-stick spray and dusting with flour.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Cream together the butter and sugar in a large mixing bowl using an electric mixer for 3-4 minutes until light and fluffy.
  4. Add in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the sour cream and vanilla extract until well combined.
  5. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, alternating with the milk until just combined.
  6. In a small bowl, combine the brown sugar and cinnamon. Pour half the batter into the prepared pan, sprinkle with half of the cinnamon-sugar mixture, then add the remaining batter and top with the rest of the cinnamon-sugar.
  7. Use a butter knife to gently swirl the batter to create a marbled effect.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 50 to 60 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Allow to cool in the pan for 15 minutes before inverting onto a wire rack to cool completely.
