- Crush the pretzels into coarse crumbs. In a medium bowl, combine the crushed pretzels with melted unsalted butter and a portion of the salted caramel sauce until cohesive. Press mixture into the bottom of a lined baking dish.
- Pour remaining salted caramel sauce over the pretzel layer and spread evenly. Let it sit at room temperature.
- Sprinkle chocolate chips over the caramel layer, ensuring even distribution. Optionally microwave for 10-15 seconds to lightly melt.
- Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 1-2 hours to firm up.
- Remove from refrigerator, cut into squares or rectangles, and serve chilled or at room temperature.
