Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Start by pouring 4 cups of water into a medium saucepan. Add 1 cinnamon bark stick and bring to a rolling boil over medium-high heat. This takes about 5–7 minutes.
  2. Once boiling, carefully remove the saucepan from the heat. Add 2 tablespoons of green tea leaves (or 1 tea bag) and steep for about 1 minute.
  3. Stir in 1 tablespoon of turmeric and lower the heat to a gentle simmer for an additional minute.
  4. Using a fine mesh strainer, pour the tea into a large measuring cup to separate the solids.
  5. While the tea is still warm, stir in 2 tablespoons of organic raw honey and a pinch of black pepper.
  6. Allow the tea mixture to cool to room temperature for about 10-15 minutes. Once cool, fill tall glasses with ice and pour the iced turmeric green tea over.
  7. Garnish with a few fresh mint leaves and enjoy your invigorating beverage!
