Step-by-Step Instructions for BBQ Chicken Pizza
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Gather your ingredients while the oven heats up.
- Season chicken thighs with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a sauté pan over medium heat. Add chicken, cover, and cook for 10 minutes, flipping once.
- Remove chicken and let it rest. Shred into bite-sized pieces and toss with BBQ sauce in a bowl.
- In the same pan, add sliced onions, butter, and red wine vinegar. Cook on low for 5-10 minutes until caramelized.
- Roll out pizza dough on parchment paper to a 12-inch circle.
- Spread BBQ sauce on the dough, sprinkle cheese, add shredded chicken and caramelized onions. Top with cilantro if desired.
