  • 1/4 teaspoon Ground Ginger Use fresh ginger for a more vibrant flavor.
  • 1/4 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes Adjust to taste or omit for less spice.
  • 8-10 cranks Freshly Ground Black Pepper Pre-ground can be used for convenience.

Instructions
  1. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Sauté the broccoli until bright green and tender-crisp, then set aside.
  3. Cook the ground beef with minced garlic in the same skillet, draining excess fat.
  4. Whisk together the sauce ingredients in a bowl.
  5. Combine the beef and sauce in the skillet, allowing to simmer.
  6. Return the sautéed broccoli to the skillet and mix well.
  7. Serve immediately over rice or noodles, garnishing with sesame seeds.
