  • 8 oz LoMein Noodles Wide, chewy noodles
For the Filling
  • 1 lb Ground Pork Juicy and flavorful
  • 4 cups Coleslaw Mix Can substitute with fresh shredded cabbage
For the Sauce
  • ½ cup Chicken Broth
  • 2 tbsp Mirin Substitute with rice vinegar and sugar
  • 3 tbsp Dark Soy Sauce Substitute regular soy sauce and molasses
  • 3 cloves Garlic Minced
  • 1 tbsp Ginger Grated
  • to taste Sriracha Optional for heat
For Cooking
  • 2 tbsp Peanut Oil Can use vegetable or canola oil

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Boil a large pot of water and cook the LoMein noodles according to package instructions until al dente, about 5–7 minutes. Drain and rinse under cold water to prevent sticking.
  2. In a large skillet, heat peanut oil over medium-high heat. Add ground pork and sliced green onions, cooking until browned and cooked through, about 5–6 minutes.
  3. In a small bowl, combine chicken broth, mirin, dark soy sauce, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Whisk until well combined.
  4. Stir in the cooked LoMein noodles and coleslaw mix into the skillet with pork. Toss gently for 1–2 minutes.
  5. Pour the sauce over the mixture in the skillet, stirring continuously for 2–3 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats the noodles.
  6. Remove from heat and garnish with remaining green onions. Serve immediately.
