Step-by-Step Instructions for Smashburger Quesadillas
  1. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix gently to maintain the tender texture.
  2. Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat for about 5 minutes.
  3. Divide the beef mixture into 8 equal portions and roll them into balls.
  4. Brush the cooking surface with olive oil, then smash each ball down into patties, cooking for 2-3 minutes per side.
  5. Remove the cooked patties and let them rest on a plate.
  6. Brush one side of each tortilla with melted butter and place butter-side down on the grill.
  7. On one half of each tortilla, layer with cheddar cheese, beef patties, onions, pickles, and tomatoes. Add more cheese on top.
  8. Fold the tortilla over the filling and grill for 2-3 minutes per side.
