- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Rinse and pat dry the salmon fillets, then place skin-side down on the baking sheet.
- In a saucepan over medium heat, combine soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger. Simmer for 3-5 minutes.
- Prepare a cornstarch slurry with cornstarch and cold water, stir it into the sauce and cook for 1-2 minutes until thickened.
- Brush the teriyaki sauce over each salmon fillet and bake for 12-15 minutes until the salmon flakes easily.
- While the salmon bakes, prepare the rice as per package instructions, usually taking about 15-20 minutes.
