Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and coat a baking dish with nonstick spray.
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Sear in a hot skillet for 5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  3. Sauté chopped onions and minced garlic in the same skillet for about 3 minutes until translucent.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine cream of mushroom soup, chicken broth, soy sauce, paprika, and thyme. Whisk until smooth.
  5. Transfer the seared chicken to the baking dish and pour the sauce mixture evenly over the chicken.
  6. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 30-35 minutes until chicken reaches 165°F (74°C).
  7. Let the chicken rest for a few minutes, prepare the rice, and serve the chicken atop the rice with extra sauce.
