Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Gently wipe mushrooms with a damp cloth and remove stems, finely chopping them.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine chopped mushroom stems with softened cream cheese, cooked sausage, grated Parmesan, minced garlic, chopped parsley, salt, and black pepper. Mix until smooth and creamy.
  4. Spoon the filling mixture into each mushroom cap, pressing down slightly to fill them well. Arrange on a greased baking sheet.
  5. Press a pitted olive into the center of each mushroom cap to represent the pupils.
  6. Bake the mushrooms for 20-25 minutes or until tender and the filling is golden on top.
  7. Remove from oven, let cool slightly, and transfer to a serving platter.
