- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Gently wipe mushrooms with a damp cloth and remove stems, finely chopping them.
- In a mixing bowl, combine chopped mushroom stems with softened cream cheese, cooked sausage, grated Parmesan, minced garlic, chopped parsley, salt, and black pepper. Mix until smooth and creamy.
- Spoon the filling mixture into each mushroom cap, pressing down slightly to fill them well. Arrange on a greased baking sheet.
- Press a pitted olive into the center of each mushroom cap to represent the pupils.
- Bake the mushrooms for 20-25 minutes or until tender and the filling is golden on top.
- Remove from oven, let cool slightly, and transfer to a serving platter.
