  • 1 can Rotel Tomatoes with Green Chilies substitute with regular diced tomatoes for milder flavor
  • 1 can Refried Beans swap with black beans for a vegetarian option
  • 1 packet Taco Seasoning consider homemade spice mix for a healthier option
For Flavor Enhancement
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1 tsp Paprika try smoked paprika for extra flavor
  • 1 tsp Ground Cumin
  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
For Garnish and Serving
  • 2 stalks Sliced Green Onions for garnish
  • 1 bag Tortilla Chips for serving

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese and sour cream until smooth and creamy.
  3. Add refried beans and Rotel tomatoes, mixing until well combined.
  4. Sprinkle in taco seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, ground cumin, and black pepper; stir well.
  5. Fold in shredded cheddar cheese and half of the sliced green onions.
  6. Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish, smoothing it evenly.
  7. Top with the remaining shredded cheddar cheese.
  8. Bake for about 25-30 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  9. Let cool slightly, garnish with remaining green onions, and serve with tortilla chips.
